1. How to read 15.305
2. What must be substracted from 6 7/10 to get 4.17?
3. In a school, the duration of each period is 45 minutes. If the first period starts at 7.30 a.m., at what time does the third period start?
4. Manisah began sewing a dress at 9.15 a.m. She took 1/3 hour to have lunch. If she finished her sewing at 5.30 p.m., how long did she take to sew the dress?
5. A movie started at 1730 hrs. Rita reached the cinema 1/4 hour earlier. If her journey from home to the cinema took 20 minutes, at what time didi she leave home?

q2) 6.7-4.17 = 2.53
q3) 7.30 + 45 minutes = 8.15 a.m (2nd period)

q4) Start sewing = 9.15 a.m (0915 in 24 hours system)
Lunch 1/3x60 minutes = 20 minutes
Finished her sewing = 5.30 p.m ( 1730 in 24 hours system)
1730 - 0915 = 0815 = 8 hours 15 minutes
8 hours 15 minutes - 20 minutes (lunch time) = 7 hours 55 minutes
q5) movie start = 1730 hrs
reach at cinema = 1/4 hours earlier = 1/4 x 60 minutes = 15 minutes
gap time from home to cinema = 20 minutes
time she leave home = 1730 - 15 minutes - 20 minutes = 1655 hrs
